2026 FIFA World Cup Team Signed Jerseys - BE CAUTIOUS!

Some websites are now offering "pre orders" on 2026 World Cup team-signed jerseys for teams such as Portugal, Spain, France and England.

Be careful.  Before you buy, ask for details of where and when the jerseys were signed.  Ask for signing photos that show players signing at least a hefty pile of these jerseys since they must have signed many for such availability to now be the case.

In terms of Australian companies, take particular care with Sports Online Memorabilia, HTFM Memorabilia, Taylormade Memorabilia, and Superstars and Legends Memorabilia (in Taree NSW and Melbourne respectively).  Ask the questions that I have suggested.  If not answered appropriately, AVOID these jerseys at all costs.

I'd note, for instance, that Sports Online state that "To provide consumer confidence, we offer independent third-party AMA authentication and certification for many of our products."

The definition of third-party authentication should be that the "third party" examines the items that they certify.  In this case, the AMA does NOT do so.  They simply provide a certificate without looking at anything.  Incredible.
