Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Unique Memorabilia. By using our website and placing an order, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a purchase.
1. Shipping
We aim to dispatch orders within 1 to 3 working days of receipt. If framing is required, please allow an additional 7 to 14 days for completion.
All orders are shipped using trusted carriers such as TNT Road Express and Australia Post. A signature may be required upon delivery or an item may be taken to an alternative destination (such as the local Post Office) for pick up. Once your order has been dispatched, risk of loss or damage passes to the customer. If you wish to have your item, insured, please let us know. Australia Post, for instance, can insure items for $2.50 per $100 of value for a particular item up to a maximum of $5,000. We recommend selecting a shipping method such as this with tracking and insurance for high-value items. Unique Memorabilia is not responsible for delays caused by third-party carriers or events outside our control. We believe in efficient, reliable and secure shipping, and aim to make your online experience a pleasant one.
You are welcome to pick up your item from our Seven Hills warehouse by prior arrangement. Shipping costs paid can be refunded at that point.
Shipping times depend on your delivery address. If you need your order by a specific date, please contact us before purchasing to confirm.
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will begin processing on the next working day. During periods of high demand, dispatch may take a few extra days.
For any orders returned to us due to non-collection or incorrect addresses, re-delivery charges may apply.
2. International Shipping
International shipping is available on most items. Shipping quotes for international orders will be provided before payment.
Customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs fees charged by the destination country. Delivery times may vary and may be affected by customs clearance processes. Unique Memorabilia has no control over these delays.
3. Taxes and Duties
Please note that since the items are “second hand” – for example, we may acquire signed soccer pics from the UK and then weave them into a new collage, there is no GST payable on the items themselves, only on the framing and shipping components of your purchase.
Unique Memorabilia is not responsible for any duties, foreign taxes or other fees applied by customs in the country of delivery. The responsibility for these costs rests with the customer. Please check with your local customs office for details on applicable duties and taxes.
4. Refunds and Returns Policy
Given the limited-edition nature of our products, all sales are final, and we do not offer change of mind refunds or exchanges. Please ensure you have all the relevant information before placing your order. If you have any questions, please contact us prior to purchase.
This policy does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If your item is faulty, damaged or not as described, please contact us promptly so we can assist you in accordance with your consumer rights.
5. Customer Information
We may request additional information, including identification, prior to dispatching your order—particularly for high-value items. This helps us ensure that orders are genuine and securely processed for your protection and ours. All information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
6. Display and Care of Your Memorabilia
Proper display and care will help preserve your memorabilia for years to come.
Protection:
- Mount nails or screw hangers directly into wall studs for security.
- Follow the hanger manufacturer’s maximum load guidelines.
- Use appropriate hangers for plasterboard walls.
- Protect your items from heat, UV light and humidity. Avoid direct sunlight, bathrooms, or areas above fireplaces.
- Clean the back of framed pictures annually to prevent condensation or pest damage.
Lighting:
- Use ambient room lighting to complement your pieces.
- Use spotlights sparingly and avoid halogen or UV lights that may cause fading or heat damage.
- Prolonged exposure to natural sunlight can discolour photos or fade signatures. Many of our items are sold with 3 mm Perspex, which blocks over 99% of UV impact.
Unique Memorabilia is not liable for any fading or discolouration caused by environmental conditions after delivery.
7. New Acquisitions
We are always interested in acquiring unique items for our site. However, we generally do not buy from the public. We can only acquire items at prices that allow us to make a fair margin, and many older pieces require costly reframing.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and by Commonwealth Consumer Law as appropriate. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

Unique Memorabilia respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
