Jason Gillespie, Man of the Match Medal, 4th Ashes Test 1997

Australia played for The Ashes against England in England in 1997.  Captained by Mark Taylor, Australia won the series 3–2 with decisive bowling from Warne, McGrath, and Gillespie.

Presented here is an extremely rare Ashes Man of the Match medal, presented to Jason Gillespie for his outstanding performance in the critical 4th Test at Headingly.  Gillespie took 7 for 37 and 2 for 65 with the wickets including Stewart, Headley, Thorpe, Crawley, Gough, Croft and Smith in England's first innings as well as Thorpe and Gough in the second.
