Just acquired is this amazing collection which together celebrates Warney's 700th Test Wicket on Boxing Day 2006 as well as the Ashes, cricket's most important contest.

The 100th MCG Test Cricket Ball was personally signed by Shane Warne on 28 December 2006 underneath the MCG stadium, adjacent to the Australia changing room.

The Australia Cap was personally signed by all the 11 players in the Australian Cricket team as follows:  Matthew Hayden (on 27 December 2006) Shane Warne, Andrew Symonds, Michael Hussey, Michael Clarke, Stuart Clark, Glenn McGrath, Justin Langer, Adam Gilchrist, Brett Lee, Ricky Ponting (c) (on 28 December 2006).

The England Cap signed as follows: P Collingwood, lan Bell, Alistair Cook and Matthew Hoggard (on 27 December at the MCG) then signed by Kevin Pietersen, Chris Read, Andrew Strauss, Steve Harmison, Saj Mahmood (practising at the SCG on 1 January 2007), then by  Andrew Flintoff and , Monty Panesar on the 1st day of the SCG Test match (2 January 2007).

Provenance: On the 1st day of the test match, during lunch the collector spoke to an MCG steward and explained that his son had had a tough year. He asked if it would be possible to obtain some Australian player signatures. Following each of the three days play, the steward arranged for them to meet him/Jimmy Craig (an official who normally looked after Australian rules footballers at the MCG, but looked after them around the changing rooms area for three evenings).  He acquired the later English signatures at the SCG Test and pre-match practise.

This collection includes 3 days of Test tickets as well as an official Test program.  All had been previously mounted and framed in the UK by the collector.

Framing is possible at an additional cost.
