Shane Warne's Test-worn Ashes batting gloves from the 2005 Ashes series in England.

As well as taking an amazing 40 wickets in this closely fought Ashes series, Shane Warne scored 90 in the first innings of the Third Test at Old Trafford and made other significant contributions with the bat.

Shane Warne became the all-time leading wicket-taker in Ashes series during this particular series, having taken a total of 172.  He also passed the 600 Test wicket mark, with 623 by the end of the series.

The gloves have excellent provenance - they were gifted personally by Shane Warne to the SCG's long-time dressing room attendant Bobby Barter who attended to Shane Warne's needs, from getting his clothes washed to obtaining his favourite magazines over a 10-year period.
